Hello, My name is Scott Merritt, Owner/Operator of All-American Lock and Key. I have over 18+ years of experience in the locksmith industry to help serve your needs. I graduated from Atlantic High School in 1984 and got my college degree from Iowa Western Community College. I joined the Iowa Army National Guard in my junior year in high school and I’m still listed as one of the top 20 youngest people ever to enlist. I proudly served 3 years with the National Guard while going to college and went full-time in the Army after graduating. I served 6 years at Ft. Carson, CO. and I am very proud to serve this great country. After the military, I worked at several top companies and ended up back here in Iowa.

I originally came back to work under another locksmith to train and learn the business from the inside out. I decided to branch out on my own in September 2012. And here I am today working alongside my amazing wife, Patty (who handles our car unlocks, roadside programs, and paperwork), with numerous satisfied customers and the highest customer ratings and reviews in the Iowa City/Coralville area (click here to see all our 270+ reviews).
