Welcome to All-American Lock and Key. We understand how frustrating it is to have to call a locksmith for those emergencies you just can’t predict or prevent. We try to make this frustrating experience as pleasant as possible, by providing fast and courteous residential, commercial, and automotive locksmith services. We operate a mobile service only and currently do not have a walk in shop at this time.
We focus on auto, home, and business unlocks, key generation, lock repairs, upgrades and installations, and now automotive keys and remotes. Unlike some other locksmiths in the area, we do not do everything under the sun. Sure, we could learn to open safes, install wired security systems, or numerous other tasks that a locksmith could do, but we’d rather provide faster and better quality service. When it comes to value, we will give you a true answer about the cost and an estimated time of arrival. When it comes to rates, you pay what you see on our website. We do not hide our rates nor change our rates after the job is completed. We clearly post them on the website so you’ll know exactly what you’ll pay before we even arrive for the appointment (see Rates and Coverage Area). As a customer convenience, because we know how difficult it is to schedule appointments after work, we can schedule appointments after 5 pm when most of the local locksmiths close their doors or turn off their phones (after hours fees may apply). We know that word of mouth advertising and referrals from our customers are the greatest advertising there is (See our Google Reviews here) and we hope you consider us for all your locksmith needs.
Unfortunately for the consumer, there are more and more scam artists out there trying to represent themselves as reputable locksmiths. Most locksmiths are honest. A few are not. According to a new warning from the Better Business Bureau, these untrustworthy locksmiths are “ripping off consumers” across the country.
The BBB says this “nationwide locksmith swindle” has already resulted in more than a thousand complaints. They significantly overcharge customers, charge for unnecessary services, and use intimidation tactics. In some cases, the final bill is four to five times as much as the quoted price usually from $15-$19 (See an example here of how to spot a scammer locksmith). Watch here.
Also, be aware of “KeyMe” kiosks you see in Google searches and in stores. This company has tricked Google Maps again with fake Google business listings and Google is showing them having THOUSANDS of phony locksmith locations across the country when in reality, they have ZERO! What’s more? Google doesn’t care. The Google scam business listings are from KeyMe which an Ex-Google Executive has invested heavily in. He also sits on the Board of Directors of KeyMe! Is this why Google allows them to violate the Google Maps listing policies? You can watch this video here to see how they operate.
Report fake business listings to Google at the link below and don’t let these unscrupulous companies dominate Google searches with fake Google Business listings.
